Process to Re-Ink Stamps

Pre-Inked and Self-Inking

Effective 2003 all self-inking stamps use a new technology and must use Ideal Stamp Ink

If Customer has an old stamp (with red round handle) and needs re-inking fluid:

  • Order a new stamp, old inking fluid is no longer available

If customer has old stamp (with red round handle) and still has old ink:

  • Unlock ink tray by sliding red tab on the side of the stamp
  • Pull back handle in the back to remove the ink tray
  • Drop ink into the two holes in the tray

Create personalized labels, stickers and seals with your logo

If customer has the new style stamp (ordered 2003 or later) to re-ink do the following:

  • Press top down slightly and pull out stamp pad until the ink chambers are revealed
  • Squeeze 10 drops of re-inking fluid into each of the two ink chambers
  • Wait 15 minutes, then add another 10 drops into each chamber
  • Press top down slightly and push stamp pad back into usable position
